The brief: redesign Granville Island’s reusable shopping bag for 2023. Create an engaging and fun bag, coupled with strong brand awareness promoting GI.

My solution was to keep it local. I created a template that will feature artwork from the Chain & Forge Mural Gallery and the work of GI based artisans, combined with the new Granville Island branding to create a look that is fresh, vibrant, and playful.

Locals will want to carry them and tourists will want them as a keep-sake.
